GfsOutputBalance
From Gerris
GfsOutputBalance writes statistics about the simulation size (number of cells) on the different processors running the simulation. If the simulation is very "unbalanced", the minimum and maximum sizes will be very different.
On a single processor, this function can be used for example to check the evolving size of an adaptive simulation (see also GfsOutputAdaptStats).
The syntax in parameter files is:
[ GfsOutput ]
Examples
- B\'enard--von K\'arm\'an Vortex Street for flow around a cylinder at Re=160
- Vortex street around a "heated" cylinder
- Rayleigh-Taylor instability
- Boussinesq flow generated by a heated cylinder
- Turbulent air flow around RV Tangaroa
- Air-water flow around a Series 60 cargo ship
